About TypeSarthi

“Sarthi” means guide or charioteer — the one who steers you toward the goal.

TypeSarthi is a typing practice platform built for students preparing for government and competitive typing examinations in India, in both English and Hindi. It focuses on accuracy first: the practice engine blocks input after two consecutive mistakes on the same character, so speed never gets built on sloppy habits.

Every session records which letter pairs caused mistakes, so the Review page can show exactly which keys to drill rather than leaving you to guess. 10 levels take you from home-row basics through exam-style passages to a 100 WPM mastery tier.

A note on exam requirements

TypeSarthi's level targets are our own pacing, designed to build ability gradually. They are not the official cut-off for any specific examination. Speed and accuracy requirements differ between SSC, CPCT, state boards and departmental exams, and they change over time — always confirm against the current official notification for the exam you are sitting.
